Eight is made up of eight monologues that create a generational portrait of British Youth in 2008. Taking apathy and disillusionment as its themes ‘Eight’ offers an amusing, startling and intriguing insight into British culture from one of Britain’s most exciting young writers.

‘EIGHT’ debuted at The Edinburgh Fringe at Bedlam Theatre as part of the Edinburgh University Theatre Company and received huge critical acclaim. ‘EIGHT’ won a Fringe First, The Carol Tambor ‘Best of Edinburgh’ Award and The NSDF Emerging Artists Award.

Since The Edinburgh Festival, ‘EIGHT’ has toured to London’s ‘Pleasance’ Theatre, New York’s Performance Space 122 and Trafalgar Studios in London’s West End in July.

‘Scintillating – brilliant – dazzling’ – Christopher Hart - The Sunday Times. ‘Superbly simple, slick and effective performance, you're blown awayJoyce Macmillan – The Scotsman
